Invisible Chyildren aims to raise awareness for the children in Northern
Uganda who are being abducted by the Lord's Resistence Army and forced
to act as soldiers. We are currently in the process of writing a letter
to Deval Patrick, planning to participate in the two day event for displaced
people in Uganda that is taking place in New York City in April. In the
future, we hyope to fundraise for the children of Uganda and raise more
awarenss in our community.

Student Council is a student run group that focuses on bringing the school community together through such events as Homecoming and Rock the Mic. Each year the proceeds from Rock the Mic go to either a project on campus or a local or international charity. Additionally, Student Council celebrates the school leaders through Leadership Breakfasts where funds are raised for other needy organizations. Student Council meets weekly prior to Homecoming and monthly thereafter. Student Council follows a student written Constitution that details duties and expectations. Elections are held in June and in September for in-coming freshmen. In order to be put on the ballot, a student must fill out a nomination form that is also signed by 25 class members and a teacher.
